BOPPIN’ was founded on a love for great friends, live music and quality food. Our journey began on the road traveling, selling grilled cheese under a tent at music festivals. As we evolved we finally planted local roots so we could share our craft with the beautiful Northern Michigan community. As we now transition from a 6 month operation to a year-round operation, we are looking for 2-3 excellent team members to be the full-time year-round foundation of our team!
TEAM Night Manager, FT, Year-Round
$19.00 + CASH & CREDIT CARD TIPS
You will be responsible for leading a small team and delegating night shift duties while providing food service. Duties will include becoming proficient in working each station of the operation and training new staff on those stations, handling customer requests, and managing and reporting a cash till. Whether it’s the cashier and beverage station, bowls and fryer station, or operating the griddle in the sandwich station, you will find yourself periodically working in all areas of the food service operation. Leading a thorough end of night deep cleaning is a priority for this position.
Shifts:
Assistant Night Manager Shifts, 5 days per week*
3:00pm - 10:00pm
*Friday and Saturday required, some holidays required
Benefits:
Cash and credit card tips = an extra $15+ per hr on average
Free meal per shift + 25% off all the other food trucks at The Back Lot
Simple IRA match up to $3,000.00 (retirement account)
Time and a half pay for holidays

Requirements:
2-3 years restaurant experience required
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a leadership role, restaurant or otherwise
Prior experience in on site training of staff
Proficient in till management and reporting sales
Experience in writing prep or safety procedures
Calm and effective communicator in diverse work environments
Positive attitude toward customers and fellow staff members
Proven track record of reliable workplace attendance
Being comfortable in a fast pace environment
